Only 8% of Large Enterprises Successfully Scale AI for Business Transformation

A significant disparity exists between the number of large enterprises experimenting with artificial intelligence (AI) and those successfully scaling AI initiatives to drive substantial business transformation, according to recent findings from Accenture.

The research, conducted among 2,000 C-suite and data science executives representing 1,998 companies with annual revenues surpassing $1 billion, revealed that a mere 8% of organizations meet the criteria as ‘front-runners.’ These are companies that have successfully scaled numerous strategic AI deployments across their operations.

These front-running organizations have on average achieved a 34% scaling rate in industry-specific AI strategic projects.
