The technology company OnePlus is expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities, with the forthcoming integration of the Plus Mind screenshot tool into its flagship phone series, including the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. An update for these devices is imminent, bringing the AI-driven feature to the market.
Originally launched in May, Plus Mind serves as an AI repository for crucial information on users’ phones. The tool utilizes OnePlus AI to capture screenshots of displayed content and offers suggestions for utilizing that data effectively. On newer models such as the OnePlus 13 and 13R, this functionality will be accessible via a dedicated AI key, which replaces the alert slider in previous iterations. For devices without hardware buttons, users can activate the feature by swiping up from the bottom of the screen with three fingers.
Upon activation, OnePlus AI will automatically take a screenshot and save it to Plus Mind. Users can then benefit from AI-generated advice, such as summaries of the content and, at times, connectivity with other apps and services.
For instance, capturing an image of an event poster in real life and subsequently activating OnePlus AI would result in the AI reading the event details and suggesting the creation of a calendar appointment.
