DJI E-Bikes Now Available in the US: High-End Models Priced Above $10,000!

DJI’s portfolio has expanded beyond drones, now encompassing gimbals, microphones, power stations, and electric bikes under a separate brand named Amflow. The brand’s first foray into the e-bike market in the United States has recently transpired, with the introduction of the Amflow PL Carbon and the PL Carbon Pro.

These carbon fiber electric mountain bikes boast an estimated range of 157 km courtesy of their 800Wh batteries. The Avinox Drive System integrated into each model offers torque up to 105 Nm in standard mode, while Boost mode can reach 120 Nm. Additional assist modes include Walk for navigating inclines, Auto Hold to prevent the bike from rolling back, and Hill Start Assist to aid in starting on steep terrain.

Each bike is equipped with a 2-inch OLED screen providing real-time ride data, while an accompanying app offers further insights into speed, range, cadence, torque, gradient, altitude, calories burned, heart rate, and more.

The pricing for Amflow bikes is substantial, with the PL Carbon priced at $7,499 and the PL Carbon Pro retailing for $10,199. The e-bikes are available for purchase through the Amflow website, and a 30-day return policy without questions is provided if the bike does not meet your expectations.

As DJI expands into various gadgets, it faces potential restrictions on its drones in the U.S., with rumors suggesting that new drones and future updates for existing products could be halted by the end of the year as part of the Countering CCP Drones Act. The company has urged customers to sign a petition requesting an audit of DJI before any ban is implemented.

Rumors also circulate regarding DJI’s entry into the robot vacuum market under the name Romo, with a potential launch slated for August 6.
