Stuff Your Kindle Day’s Stepping Through Time Offers Hundreds of Free Historical Fiction & More Ebooks for Four Days

The upcoming “Stuff Your eReader” event offers a plethora of free or discounted ebooks, taking place approximately monthly. Recent events have focused on romance novels and science fiction titles, with the latest event, “Stepping Through Time,” providing a diverse collection of historical fiction and contemporary books.

Organized by Indie Authors Central, this event’s logo features an intriguing combination of a Medieval castle and a New York City taxi cab, symbolizing the blend of past and present narratives within the offered titles. Participating authors have contributed hundreds of free books for download.

Unlike its name suggests, the event spans four days, concluding on August 16. All downloaded books are yours to keep permanently, making it an ideal opportunity to stock up on intriguing titles for future reading.

These ebooks can be downloaded onto Kindle, Kobo, or Nook ereaders, as well as the Kindle app for smartphones and computers. Ownership of a separate ereader is not a requirement to participate.

The forthcoming events promise an eclectic mix of genres, including time-travel romance books, archaeological mysteries with love triangles involving minotaurs, and contemporary mystery novels.

Upcoming events include “Into The Darkness,” focusing on what Indie Authors Central call “dark fiction,” scheduled for just over a month from now. Halloween will see the launch of “Get Spooked” on October 26, featuring horror, thriller, paranormal, and mystery books.

The rest of the year will host a Christian book blast on November 18, followed by “Winter Wonderland” on December 16. Each event lasts for four days.
