Vivrelle Launches AI Personal Styling Tool Ella in Partnership with Revolve and FWRD for Seamless High-End Fashion Recommendations
High-end goods rental platform Vivrelle has unveiled Ella, an AI-powered personal styling tool, in a strategic partnership with fashion retailers Revolve and FWRD. This collaboration marks a significant stride in the utilization of artificial intelligence to elevate customer experiences within the fashion industry.
The launch represents one of the first instances where three retailers have collaborated to provide a customized AI shopping experience. By engaging with these retailers, customers can access designer clothing and pre-owned options from Revolve, while also exploring curated outfit suggestions across Vivrelle, FWRD, and Revolve platforms through Ella. The tool allows users to inquire about specific fashion needs, such as outfits for a bachelorette weekend or a vacation trip, and receives personalized recommendations accordingly.
By leveraging AI technology, Ella aims to simplify shopping experiences and alleviate the stress associated with packing for vacations or everyday wear. Blake Geffen, CEO and co-founder of Vivrelle, highlighted that Ella has been in development for an extended period, with approximately a year dedicated to its design and release.
In addition to Ella, this partnership between Vivrelle, Revolve, and FWRD introduced Complete the Look earlier this year—a tool offering last-minute fashion suggestions complementing items already in a customer’s cart at checkout. While Complete the Look focused on immediate outfit enhancements, Ella represents a more advanced approach to AI-driven fashion recommendations.
The current AI boom has enabled swift innovation and democratized access to this transformative technology within the fashion industry. As a result, numerous companies have embraced personalized AI platforms for fashion and raised significant funding while doing so.
Geffen stated, “With Ella, we aim to offer our members a multitude of shopping options, allowing seamless conversations to share as little or as much information as desired—similar to interacting with a live stylist.” Vivrelle is poised to be the pioneer in integrating rental, resale, and retail into a unified, streamlined omnichannel experience.
