Poland Intercepts Russian Drones in Airspace Violation During Strike on Western Ukraine – Prime Minister Confirms Involvement as Turning Point

In the early hours of Wednesday, Polish forces successfully intercepted multiple Russian drones that encroached upon their airspace during a large-scale assault on western Ukraine. This military action, subsequently confirmed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk via social media, signifies a significant escalation in Warsaw’s role within the protracted regional conflict, which has persisted for over two and a half years.

According to Poland’s defense agency, more than ten objects were detected originating from Ukrainian airspace, with this incursion deemed an “act of aggression.” The agency emphasized that these drones were swiftly neutralized by Polish defenses.
